MIGHTY

and sinus infections. Topically, capsaicin desensitizes
the peripheral nerve fibers resulting in a loss
of pain sensation. It blocks the calcium channel
in the pain cycle depleting substance P in the sensory
nerves to diminish the sensation of pain. Capsaicin
also has antibacterial effects against Bacillus,
Clostridium, and Streptococcus. Capsaicin is also
antineoplastic inhibiting the microsomes involved
with carcinogen activation. Capsaicin also has detoxification
activity by interacting with hepatic drug metabolizing
enzymes. Capsaicin needs to be kept away from the
eyes and mucous membranes. It is not indicated for
children under 2 years old. It should not be used
on open wounds or damaged skin.

biloba - a powerful
